ÎÞÂëÌìÌà to run first-ever Outdoor Connect Roadshow in September
The ÎÞÂëÌìÌà has announced its first-ever Outdoor Connect Roadshow, which will take place on Saturday 9 September 2023 at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre.
Running from 9.30am to 4pm, the event will feature expert speakers from the Forest School Learning Initiative, the Nature Premium campaign, Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre and Shropshire Wildlife Trust, alongside the ÎÞÂëÌìÌÃ’s own early years experts and experienced educator Clare Ballard.
The Roadshow will explore the power of the outdoors and the vital role that nature plays not only in children’s early learning and development, but also in supporting the wellbeing of both children and adults. It will include practical Connect sessions on a a range of topics, including forest bathing, den building, supporting language development and considering how to challenge perceptions of risk.
All attendees will also automatically be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a CPD bundle worth £100, which will be drawn at the end of the event.
