ÎÞÂëÌìÌÃ

The Pre-school Learning ÎÞÂëÌìÌà has been invited to give oral evidence to the Public Accounts Committee as part of its enquiry into the free early education entitlement.

 

The evidence session, which will take place at the House of Commons on Wednesday, will focus on the recent National Audit Office report, which raised concerns about the Department for Education's ability to track the effectiveness of its investments into early years and about the likely impact of the roll-out of the 30-hour free entitlement offer. ÎÞÂëÌìÌà chief executive Neil Leitch will give evidence alongside, Zoe Raven, chief executive of Acorn Childcare and Dalia Ben-Galim, director of policy at Gingerbread.

 

There will also be a separate inquiry session, with questions directed at Department for Eduation representatives Chris Wormald, permanent secretary, and Helen Stephenson, director of early years.
